When you upload photos to Facebook, the platform resizes and formats them automatically. To ensure optimal quality when viewed by others, try these size options:
Profile and cover images
- The profile picture must be at least 2048 x 2048 px (761 x 761 px recommended).
- Cover images must be at least 2050 x 780 pixels (851 x 315 pixels recommended).
- The Facebook page cover photo should be 1958 x 745 pixels.
- Facebook group cover photo dimensions: 1500 x 727 px
- Facebook event page cover photo dimensions: 1000 x 524 px
Image posts Size
- Square image: 2048 x 2048 pixels (492 x 492 recommended).
- Portrait image size should be between 1364 x 2046 pixels (492 x 738 pixels recommended)

We are planning to offer several specialized image formats on Instagram. These include stories, which allow users to share images and videos with select followers, highlights, which use algorithms to highlight a specific part of an image while allowing the rest to remain visible, and carousel ads, which allow businesses to promote multiple products within a single ad.

Image Post Size:
- Square : 1080 x 1080 px
- Horizontal: 1080 x 566 px (Minimum of 566 pixels to preserve the image).
- Vertical: Please do not resize the image. The maximum width is 1080 pixels and the maximum height is 1350 pixels.
- Story: 1080 x 1920 px
- The recommended aspect ratio for landscape images 1.91:1, for square images 1:1, and for vertical images 4:5

- Banner recommended size 1128 x 191px
- The main image of the Life tab is recommended to be 1,128 x 376 pixels.
